Exploring Neopia
If you are new to Neopets, or even if
you have been playing it for a while, this guide is designed to give you a
simple reference guide to what you can find and where.
On the left hand
side of your screen when you go into Neopets are a list of links. The First part
of this guide will tell you about the SHOPS link.
Neopia Main Shops
Map
In the main shops map called the HIGH
STREET you can find all the basic things you need to first care for your Neopet.
There is the main quick links bar across the top, which contains quick links to
YOUR ITEMS, YOUR SHOP, GUILDS, SHOP WIZARD, BANK, MONEY TREE, NOTICE BOARD &
YOUR SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX.
Underneath that within the main map are
Auction House, Hospital (Where to go if your pet gets sick), Neopian Bank, Food
Shop, Book Shop, Guild HQ, Money Tree, Spykids Theatre, Rainbow Pool, Arts
Centre, Pharmacy, Magic Shop, Pet Pets Shop, Neolodge, Hollywood Records and
Cartoon Network Theatre.
HINT – The
Arts Centre leads to THE DEEP CATACOMBS
which contains an Art Gallery, Coffee Shop, Poetry Contest, How to draw Neopets
and The Camp Fire.
THE NEOPIAN BAZAAR
To the left-hand side of the main shops
link there is a link to take you to more often used places. It takes you to THE
NEOPIAN BAZAAR. In here
you can find Wishing Well, Treasure Hunt (See Answers page!), Grooming Parlour,
Health Food, Alien Vending Machine, Toy Shop, Chocolate Factory, Fresh
Smoothies, Defence Magic, Battle Magic, Grundo's Gym, Unis Clothing, Gifts
Galore, Gardening Supplies, The Bakery, Fine Furniture & the Trading Card
Shop.
On the left hand
side of your screen when you go into Neopets are a list of links. The SECOND
part of this guide will tell you about the EXPLORE link.
When you 1st click this link
it takes you to the main map of Neopia. On this map you have a choice of 7
different worlds.
- Winter World
Spooky Woods
Faerieland
Maraqua
Mystery Island
Virtupets Space Station.
Tyrannia
Winter World
Winter World is divided into 4 parts.
The first is HAPPY
VALLEY.
Within Happy Valley you can find links
for Snowball Game, Merry Costumes, Gift Tags, Snow Wars (Game), Advent Calendar
(FREE Items every day in the month of December), Slushie Shop, Merry Outfits,
Ice Caves & MountainTop.
The second is THE
ICE CAVES.
Within The Ice Caves you can find links
for Ice Caves Game, Snowager (FREE Items but only when the Snowager is asleep or
it may EAT you!), Kiosk (Where to buy scratch cards), Arena of Ice (Battledome),
Ice Crystals Shop & links to The Top Of The Mountain, AND LINKS TO THE
WORLD TYRANNIA (In the centre leading down through a crack in the ice).
The third is TOP
OF THE MOUNTAIN (Terror
Mountain).
Up here you can find Cliffhanger (Game),
Ski Lodge, Whack-a Beast, Garage Sale (CHEAP Items), Alpine Challenge, Snow Food
Shop, Terror at 30,000 FT & Snow Faerie Quests.
The fourth is TYRANNIA.
More is being added here daily it
contains The Plateau,
The Jungle and The Volcano.

Paintings, Keno & THE PIT!
Spooky Woods
Spooky Woods is a lot of fun but make
sure you leave before nightfall! In here you can find Scary Cave (Stories &
Poems), Scarecrow Paintbrushes, Haunted House, Halloween Costumes, Brain Tree
(Very difficult Quests but he rewards you well), Scary Pet Pets, Witches Tower
(More Quests with a reward), Pet Masks, Colouring Pages, The Esaphagor (Feed him
for Brain tree answers or rewards), The Apothecary (Mushroom Shop), Pumpkin
Patch (Game) & The Stone Battledome.
Faerieland
Faerieland is split into two parts. The
1st being the main map. In here there is Air Faerie Quests (Game),
Faerie Caves (Game), Poogle Races, Healing Springs, Colour Game, Faerie Pet
Pets, Wheel Of Excitement and a link to ENTER THE FAERIE CITY.
The 2nd part within the
FAERIE CITY contains Earth Faerie Aces (Game), Faerie Costumes, Employment
Agency, Faerie Bookshop, Faerie Crossword, Faerie Quests & Faerie Food. It
also contains a link to the HIDDEN TOWER this can be found to the left of the
main purple building in the centre of the map.
Maraqua
Maraqua or The Underwater City contains
Koi Food, Neo Nautical Adventures, Aquatic Pet Pets, Utility Fish, The Waterdome
& Kitchen (Rewards for completing a quest)
Mystery Island
Within the Mystery Island you can find
the Island Mystic, Cooking Pot, Sacrificers, Techno Safari, Ancient Training
School, Tiki Tours, Market place, Island Arena, Trading Post, Tropical Fruit
Shop, Tiki Tack, Kitchen (Rewards for completing a quest) and the Harbour (which returns you to Neopia).
Virtupets Space
Station
In the Space Station you can find Star
Bolt Shop, Grundo’s Café, Cosmic Shield Shop, Space Adoption, Gormball
(Game), Robot Pet Pets, Codebreakers (Game) and the space Battledome. There are
also links to hidden animations. The chute at the side takes you to Cartoon
Orbit.
